Cantella Los Angeles Dodgers dog replaced the Farmer's Dodger Dog years ago.
Demonsbaby: What's the difference between the two?
Fromcal: Cantella Dodger dog tastes more meatier.
Fromcal: The old Farmer's Dodger dog tastes cheap like bologna.
Demonsbaby: No mustard? No ketchup?
Fromcal: Tastes better.
SoxOCfan: What was the Oakland A's hot dog like when you were there?
Fromcal:: It wasn't good. I think it was Hoffy. Didn't eat at John Wayne Airport in Orange County and only
snacks on Southwest Airlines. I had French dip sandwich at Oakland's airport watching the KC Chiefs NFL opener on bar restaurant.

I went to Macy's in Union Square in San Francisco and didn't see the Cheesecake Factory.
Top floor. They even have an outside deck overlooking Union Square. It was way too cold the day I was there, though.

This is such a great (and quick) meal for me:

Phở Chay ~ basically a vegetarian Vietnamese soup, with a vegetable-based broth, rice noodles, tofu, king mushrooms, soy protein, bok choy, broccoli, carrots, and cabbage; served with a plate of the usual garnishes ~ bean sprouts, Thai basil, and sliced jalapeños.

And a small pot of hot tea to drink.

I always tell them they have the best vegetarian restaurant in the neighbourhood!

This made me think of Harpo. At my local grocery store, I see pickles on a pizza and I immediately thought of Harpo:ROFLMAO:. However, it was a Hamburger Pizza and he would not like that.

The first time I ever had pickles on a Pizza was on a "Cheeseburger" Pizza, I ordered it half without the ground beef. My brother ate the other half.

(He's Vegan and I told him that was all just Impossible Burger on it... )

Did your brother believe it was really Impossible Burger?

My brother is not even remotely Vegan. I was just joking. (I know that is out of character for me.) He once made an apple pie for Thanksgiving and latticed it with bacon strips.

What's for Dinner? ~ Lunch-version

I had a (pre-made from a local grocery store) Beets &
Arugula Salad. It was made with two types of beets: Red and Yellow; arugula (Rocket to you British-types); whole pistachios; and Feta cheese. It was served with a nice honey-mustard dressing.

I have been a beets-fan since I was a kid. It really helped that I liked a lot of oddball vegetables when I became a vegetarian as a teenager.

This was a great salad for me. It did contain about 75%
arugula, but I like that, too.

I just wish the
pistachios were not still in the shells. It really made for a very crunchy salad like that...

I don't think I've seen yellow beets. The red ones, yes. I was told I really liked beets when I was a kid.

This salad combination looks delicious! The pistachios and Feta cheese add a nice touch. I'll eat the Feta for loyal and soxtrot.
