Has anyone ever had any real fresh-grated wasabi? I have only had the stuff that they use at most sushi joints in the city. It is not real wasabi, but just a mixture of regular ol' horseradish (which I like well enough, but it is not real wasabi), mustard powder, and green food colouring normally.

Too hot and spicy for me. I don’t like it.

I never come close to having fresh grated wasahi in my Japanese sushi joints. I'm a daredevil, so I try to taste anything hot.

I have not tried the real fresh grated wasabi. I did try Wasabi from a Sushi part of a grocery store years ago and made the mistake of eating too much at once:ROFLMAO:. It did clear out my sinuses:ROFLMAO:.

What's for Dinner? (Lunch Dept.)

Falafel Wrap ~ with fresh vegetables in a soft tortilla wrap

Wow! Was this ever a great vegetarian sandwich! I am not sure what all they put into their
falafel-batter, but I could have sworn I tasted some quinoa in there. Plus, they added both diced (tasty) pickles and sliced green pepperoncinis in the wrap.

The first time I ever had a falafel was in Saudi Arabia (circa September 1982) at a street vendor's cart. I have loved them ever since. They are a perfect meal for a vegetarian.
