I couldn't agree more with this cover... when the PM was with Trump earlier this week he passed on the invitation from King Charles for a state visit. Something I thought was a terrible idea to begin with but "tradition" I guess.

Now that we have completely betrayed an ally and intend to use our influence to help Russia destroy Ukraine, that invitiation should be REVOKED.

...and just for some context for those who aren't aware... that newspaper is a very, very right wing paper which has been supportive of trump for the last decade. So if he's lost them, it shows just how low he has sunk.

I wish the newspapers would be consistent with the spelling of the Ukrainian president's last name. It should be "Zelenskyy", with two "y"s. Technicallyy, in Ukrainian-speak, the second "y" is really an "й", which is like a silent "e" in English-speak.

I find this a bit interesting. I follow the "Stars and Stripes" page on defacedbook. That newspaper was my only source of "home" news for several years when I was living in Europe in the Air Force.

Of course, "Stars and Stripes" is a daily American military newspaper reporting on matters concerning the members of the United States Armed Forces. It operates from inside the Department of Defense. Generally, it is more Right-winged than liberal, but lately they have been posting news articles that seem pretty Anti-Trumpian. I am just surprised that the Trumpinator and/or the real president, the Elongated Muskrat, have not seen fit to shut it down entirely.

This couch fucking cretin should be reminded that the only time NATO's article 5 was triggered was after 9/11, and both France and Britain (and many other countries) sent troops to fight alongside the US, with hundreds of losses and thousands of life changing injuries.
