I don’t expect the jury will need a lot of time!
Quote of the Day - "I keep myself amused and others confused" ~ Benedict Cumberbatch
Stay away from that stuff. I've seen celebs who have taken it and they look way too skinny and frail.Anyone know someone who takes Ozempic? My husband's cousin has been taking it...not sure how long but he's in terrible condition. So freaking skinny and weak and frail looking. He's 60 and looks 90.
so one of the things i've heard about it is it takes weight from anywhere. i think i heard 40% of the weight loss comes from lean muscle? which is something you DON'T want to lose. not saying "don't take it", just that you shouldn't expect it to eliminate fat and nothing else.Anyone know someone who takes Ozempic? we have a local weather woman here, she was somewhat overweight, yeah, but beautiful! she's obviously been on it and she needs to get OFF it because now her body is a stick and her head looks almost comically huge on her shoulders!

Kelly Osborne looks awful. She was/is on ozempic.Stay away from that stuff. I've seen celebs who have taken it and they look way too skinny and frail.
Just follow a well balanced diet, drinks lots of water, get exercise, and a good night's sleep. I hope your husband's cousin feels better, soxtrot.
There was no protein and strength training at all. This guy has always had a terrible diet. I feel bad because he's lost way more weight than he should have. You're right... All GLP-1s (ozempic, mounjaro etc) cause general weight loss, and muscle loss can be part of that just like with other quick weight loss. Protein and strength training make a big difference, so it’s more about how it’s used than the medication itself.
Trouble is that most people using it don't think/realise they have to balance the effects with the extra protein and training.
She looks younger and healthier in the before photoso one of the things i've heard about it is it takes weight from anywhere. i think i heard 40% of the weight loss comes from lean muscle? which is something you DON'T want to lose. not saying "don't take it", just that you shouldn't expect it to eliminate fat and nothing else.

I went the opposite way. Strength training for decades, now mostly cardio. Keep up the good work.I actually enjoy strength training. I have been doing it a lot lately and feel great!
It has always been part of my life but I was always more of a cardio girl while fitting in strength training. Now I'm opposite......I do more strength and fit in the cardio when I can.
I don't think they know enough about the effects from long term use of this drug.I have a very close friend who wants to take it and trying to get it affordable. I’m hoping she doesn’t go on it.
I actually know someone who is a doctor but practices very holistic methods in her treatments.I don't think they know enough about the effects from long term use of this drug.
Yes, she is one who took to and looks awful. Same with Angelina Jolie and Kelly Clarkson. There is probably more.Kelly Osborne looks awful. She was/is on ozempic.
Diabetes is why it was prescribed to my husband's cousin. He just spent two weeks in the hospital. His kidneys were failing and now there is talk of possibly needing a liver transplant in the future. He is a mess.I actually know someone who is a doctor but practices very holistic methods in her treatments.
She said there is a lot of research that leads people to believe there are complications to the pancreas from these drugs when not being used for what they're meant for (diabetes).
She said 5 years from now, there will be a surge in pancreatic issues, just watch.
Ugh it’s a dreadful diseaseDiabetes is why it was prescribed to my husband's cousin. He just spent two weeks in the hospital. His kidneys were failing and now there is talk of possibly needing a liver transplant in the future. He is a mess.
