Special moment today in Normandy. Christian Lamb, a Wren who made the maps for the D-Day landings, has been awarded the Legion d'Honneur by President Macron.

Incredible woman. Looks amazing at 103 years old too.

As a young Women's Royal Naval Service officer in World War II, Christian Lamb tried to make sure British troops were in exactly the right place when they scrambled onto Normandy's beaches under enemy fire.

I was with my friend yesterday who was married to Karen's brother (she also volunteers for the JF).
OMG.....that family is bonkers and the most manipulative bunch of people ever.
The father liked my friend so much, she said at one point Karen actually called her and said "go get your own f*cking family and leave my family alone". There is too much here to even begin but wow........we went to dinner after the Scooperbowl and I got an earful. They are not normal people.
 
Beautiful day yesterday for the Scooper Bowl......so happy it's back in Boston (it has been at Gillette the past few years).
Much more crowded in Boston. We had a mass crowd come in around 4:30-5ish all wearing Sox gear and lots of Celtics shirts.
I didn't realize the Sox played a day game yesterday but I thought they were all stopping for ice cream BEFORE the game. Everyone was in a good mood and celebrating with all you can eat ice cream! Such a great event!

The conspiracy theory is falling apart. I never believed any of it.

There is no way this conspiracy is true but I'm afraid someone on that jury will have reasonable doubt (a few of them will, I'm sure). She will get off. She and her family are such manipulative, entitled people and they are actually getting pretty wealthy off all of this.

Agreed which is sad. My hope is she gets guilty of something.
 
@philthepat why do you edit my pictures I post...am I doing something wrong? I don't care that you edit but just wondering why.
