Went to the Tampa Bay Rays at LA Angels of Anaheim game Wednesday afternoon on a very warm day.
The next few days the weather got cooler and I was feeling under the weather. Slight headache, loss of appetite. Still under. Played basketball and walk for a long time today. My mother had more energy than I did today.

Big weekend here in Boston. Heading out to Copley to serve pasta to all the great folks who are running for DFCI.
So many inspirational people, this weekend always amazes me.
I'll be at the Finish Line tomorrow cheering them all on!

A great tradition before the marathon is the 5K before Marathon Day.
For people who want to run and participate in something special, embrace this Boston tradition and show support to the runners.
Congrats to Alex Cora who completed the 5K before the game yesterday! It's nice to see some of the local celebrities participate in this and show their support!

City was electric yesterday. Good luck to all the runners.
Some of these stories just amaze me.
Beautiful day although might even be a little warm for the runners.

If he'd just got a 1-2-3 in the 9th... people would have been streaming out of Fenway about 30-40 mins earlier than they were.

2006 was a largely forgettable year of course... but we did have this walkoff by Mark Loretta on Patriots Day

Come to think of it, my friend left the game early that day. She didn’t stay for the blown lead. I texted her when it was over to say “you saw a hell of a game”. She texted back “what happened? We left early to come to the Finish Line”.
She lost her leg at the 2nd bombing.

It’s filled with mixed emotions. There are times she wants to go away and not be around on this day. The Red Sox always invite the victims to the Patriots Day game. She is there today with the Richards and other victims and families. Sitting in the same suite as Gronk! Too bad the game sucked!
