They've rebooted the early 90s Gladiators gameshow here, used to love watching it as a kid! Love it for slightly more grown up reasons this time around lol Sabre... jeez 😲🙈

I don't know how YOU do it.
I have all I can do to feed myself and my furry little guy
Of course it doesn't help that I like good quality food, fresh and healthy......obviously more expensive.
I do the same for Mookie too. His food is very expensive.
and judging by his size, he clearly likes to eat lol

I'm sure.......families really have to struggle so it's likely 4x more than mine and that is pretty scary.
I try to be economical and I really don't like to eat out very often anymore because it's so expensive and it's not even all that better than what I can prepare at home.

i don't eat out nearly as much either. we generally get Thai every friday night and I spend about $35-40 on that but we get two dinners out of the portions. maybe once a month we get a steak or something. I think the grocery chains really pounced on the supply chain excuse and raised prices more than they needed to. "Hey if it costs us $1 more, lets charge $2 more and blame the pandemic!" In fact I've seen articles about this very thing. Especially when it comes to groceries they know they have the consumer over a barrel. "what are people going to do if we keep raising prices? NOT EAT???"

If you can prepare things at home, do it. It is going to create a dish in the kitchen.

I try to be economical too. I have an app for the 2 stores I shop at and clip coupons on the app. We do take out once a week...sometimes twice. I'd rather do take out than go out to eat. It's cheaper. Thankfully my husband brings home a good pay. I don't work. Always been a stay at home mom. That was so important to me to be able to do that. So grateful 🙏

Friday I was in LA. On my way there and back by train, I watch some baseball highlight games that I missed in September 2023. I also watch the baseball highlights during lunch at the restaurant. My battery (juice) went from 100% to 24 % went I got home. So on the train, I see the Honda Arena and Angels Stadium. It's empty. It's getting close to spring training. Went to Starbucks this morning to get a Caffe latte mocha. When I go back to the home train station, I went to the Asian Supermarket to buy vegetables. Place was a zoo for the Chinese Lunar New Year's Eve. The line for paying the cashier was the length of the grocery aisle times 7 aisles So more baseball highlights to keep me from being bored. Lucky I found parking.

On my train rides to LA and back, I always pass Angels Stadium. Angels Stadium always playing 2nd fiddle to Dodgers Stadium. Today Angels Stadium look like a surreal painting with the opening to the exits had sunlight rays in the upper deck. Not many employees park there today. Today is the first day of spring training.

Loyal in Costa Rica:
Suntanning at 84 degrees weather. Drinking tropical drinks.

CNN: The weather forecast has ice storms and snow with bitter cold winds affecting the Northeast. Flights are being cancelled while roads and highways are slippery and dangerous to drive in.

Loyal enjoying the sun by the pool, saying about returning to Boston: no maybe not

Well you actually DO work!
You have the most important job in the family but yes, it's good your husband has a good job and you're able to do that.
