Oh, this is such a great bit of Music Trivia. Steve Miller's godfather was none other than Les Paul!

Way back in 1977 during a cross-country trip, my sister "dragged" me to a week-long Bluegrass Festival in Weiser, Idaho. I ended up loving the stuff. It really is Americana. It incorporates music influences from Ireland and Africa.

This last one is a band called The Scaffold... and one of the band is Paul McCartney's younger brother. The song has backing vocals by Graham Nash (of Hollies fame) and a dude called Reg Dwight... not sure he ever made much out of his music career...? :frida2:

My dedication song (lots of songs and music) to my mother, who passed away a year ago on early November 2024 after the World Series.
Every Mother's Day I go to cliffs looking the ocean waves of Laguna Beach, California and play that music with my mobile phone and several dedicated music
songs. It reflects the sadness and love of my late mother.
