Just heard this on the news and I'm shocked - Former One Direction singer, Liam Payne is dead at the age of 31 after a fall from a Hotel In Buenos Aires. He was the father of a seven year old son.

I was just reading an article about the moments before Liam's death. He told a hotel guest "I used to be in a boy band. That's why I'm so f**ked up". Sounds like a cry for help. The Music Industry is a tough business and it can eat you alive. All comes down to how you handle it and the combination of alcohol, drugs and prescription medication is a deadly one. I didn't know he was into all that.

Watched Harry Potter with my son today... forgot there was a part where there's a song performed by the so called 'Weird Sisters' (A bit of a supergroup... made up mostly of guys from Pulp and Radiohead). Always been a big Jarvis Cocker fan... and this song sounds like it could be off of a Pulp album...

(Ignoring the fact that Roger Waters is a colossal dickhead) I've loved Pink Floyd since my dad played their albums all the time when I was a kid. Every one is epic and it seems wrong to single out a song from any of them given their conceptual nature... but I love this live performance with Sinéad O'Connor (Rest in peace)... so here we are.
