There was something magical about this game.....many of the bombing victims were at this game (guests of Larry L.).
Martin Richards sister sang the Natl Anthem at this game. I remember texting my friend before this moment and said "I wish they gave you a better game"! Papi carried the team (and city) on his shoulders in 2013.

Yeah this felt like the moment it was clear that the Sox wouldn't be stopped that year. Was Papi's way of showing 'we got this'.
