I think that pretty much guarantees that we're getting a proper WR1 in now... otherwise the receiving corps looks pretty non-existant.

Interesting. Rodgers said he didn’t want to stay in GB because they’re a ‘rebuilding’ team. You’d think he’d try to go to a contender. Still has 3 years left on his contract for $ 150 million.

I don’t think they give up a first either. That’s too much even for a great QB, especially on that contract and one so close to retiring. I do think he makes them a contender, just not a top one. Think they make the playoffs and will be a tough out for someone like Kansas City

Enough about the Jets from me though, really happy with Patriots moves so far. Still want another WR, hopefully sign OBJ or trade for Jeudy without giving up #14 and use that on a LT.

I think one of the coaches on the Jets was an Offensive Coordinator with the Packers. Not sure which one, so Rodgers has that connection.
