I remember listening to him huddled next to the radio when i was supposed to be asleep before school the next day. this is like 30+ years ago. we didn't have NESN so radio and boxscores in the newspapers were how i followed most of the games

There will never be a better voice of the Red Sox.
Loved when he was with Lou "Wayyyyyyyyy back", God they were funny!
Best of luck to Joe......he deserves every meaningful tribute he receives and I hope his best days are ahead of him.
