The complete order of selection for the 2024 NBA Draft was determined at the NBA Draft Lottery on May 12, 2024 in Chicago. The teams eligible for the Draft Lottery were the 14 teams that missed out on the NBA Playoffs. After drawings were conducted for the first four picks of the NBA Draft, the other lottery teams pick in inverse order of their regular-season record.
The Draft selections for the remainder of the first round (No. 15-30) and the entire second round (No. 30-58*), are determined by reverse order of regular season record. Each NBA team gets one selection in the first round and one selection in the second round.
The 2024 NBA Draft will be held on June 26-27, 2024. The first round will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., home of the Brooklyn Nets on Wed., June 26. The second round will take place at ESPN’s Seaport District Studios in New York on Thurs., June 27.
* Phoenix and Philadelphia have each lost a 2024 Draft second round pick due to League penalty.
