So, I voted on the Y*nkees as AL Champs... but they WILL NOT win the World Series!
 
went for the sox. not just a homer pick. i think they've done enough to win it, especially since NY lost half of their offense in Soto. the biggest problem the red sox will have is trying to break in all these rookies and win at the same time. that will be hard for Cora.

I can see the argument for redsox. Y*nkee$ do have an offense problem. I like the Y*nkee$ pitching better though . Jasson and volpe will be the key to the Y*nkee$ offense. They need to above average hopefully. I do like the redsox prospects
 
The whole AL should be interesting this year... I'm not sure there's a standout team, one which you look at and say 'yep they're the team to beat this year'. Should be fun.

You know, Teddy, you as an actual life-long Y*nkees fan do not have to bowdlerize their name. :D
 
I’m just glad we look like we can be competitive this year. I have not felt this in a long time. Lots of factors like health etc but if we can stay healthy we will be competitive.
 
are the vote totals being posted somewhere? i missed yesterday's vote.

Yes there is. Arizona and San Diego are still very good teams and despite their payroll LA isn’t a lock. I remember the year after Cohen bought the Mets how everyone thought they’d easily take the NL East. Funny things can happen in a baseball season.
 
I so wish you are right in this, Ken! I would have no problem rooting for either the D-backs or the Padres over an AL team like the Y*nkees.

I don’t see NY making it back to the WS either. They have significant injury issues already and it’s only just over a week jnto ST. Theirs is hardly an invincible roster.

Plus, they are Soto-less. The other New York City team stole him for the next fifteen years.
