Brent Rooker has done nothing for me this week on Week 7 hitter picks.

Fans shower boos on Soto, then Y*nkee$' Plan B outshine Soto.

NEW YORK – It may well be that Friday’s Subway Series opener is remembered for the vitriolic boos that rained upon Juan Soto for most of the evening, especially during his first Yankee Stadium at-bat since last year’s World Series, a moment marked by a sarcastic batting helmet doff that served to pour gasoline onto the fire.

No matter the final score, Soto’s Bronx return would be the most prominent storyline, a superstar switching boroughs to accept a record-shattering 15-year, $765 million contract. But Soto’s exit pushed the Y*nkee$ to swiftly adopt a Plan B, including pickups of Paul Goldschmidt and Cody Bellinger, both of whom contributed in a 6-2 victory over the Mets.

Shohei Ohtani solo homered against the Angels in the bottom of the 8th inning.
Where is everyone tonight. The Stadium is empty in the far deep outfield seats.

3-0 Angels
3-3 tie game on Andy Pages 3 - run homer all in the 1st inning.

Angels win again 11-9. Last week we were ready to call them dead and fire Washington. they really are not that bad if they play like they did for the last 2 games.
