The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris, France. According to USA Today, baseball and softball will not be included in the 2024 Olympics 1. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has decided to replace baseball and softball with breakdancing for the 2024 Paris Olympics 1. The IOC allows host cities to add sports to their program, so karate made sense in the country it originated. Baseball and softball, which have strong followings here, did too. But they’re less of a fit in 2024 and won’t be contested then 12.

Baseball and softball maybe returning in 2028 in Los Angeles. A gondola from Union station (train, subway, bus depot) to Dodgers Stadium maybe in the works by then. I wonder if Anaheim Stadium would have another venue for the Olympic baseball event.

NBC is going all out right now in promoting/advertising the Summer Olympics since there's no more football, no baseball, and no hockey or basketball telecasts leading to the July Olympics.

I have a bad feeling that NBC is going to stream most of the Olympic games through Peacock.

Workers in Paris began removing large sections of damaged scaffolding from the exterior of Notre Dame cathedral this week. The scaffolding had initially been placed on the cathedral's old spire for renovation, but was caught in a 2019 blaze that destroyed the spire and roof.

they have been rebuilding the great cathedral and should be done soon.

Slight error in this... the scaffolding which is being taken down now is the new stuff they put up to rebuild the roof and spire. The old damaged scaffolding was removed 4 years ago.
