i know interest in the red sox among their fans is at an all time low in the last 30 years but, COME ON, even non-red sox fans should be voting for him!

He's 5th in WAR in the ENTIRE AL!!!!!!! Judge, Soto, Witt, Henderson are ahead of him. THAT'S IT

Look i'm not saying the Red sox pitching (and defense) has been bad in the second half so far, but Boston is dead last, #30, in runs allowed in the second half with 92 runs allowed. The #29 team in the Nationals at 71!!!!!! We've allowed 21 more runs the the NEXT worst team! That's NUTS!!!!!!!!!

The Red sox offense? They are number 1 in MLB in the secodn half. Yup, we LEAD the majors in runs scored. And we're only 3-8 in that span because the pitching has been historically awful.

The bullpen especially... 8.21 ERA, opposing hitters have a 1.000 OPS against them, 2.06 WHIP. Hideous.

The Sox have signed their first round draft pick to a slightly under slot value signing bonus. In fact they were under slot value for their top 7 picks, which allowed them to go way over slot value for their #8 pick, the highest High School draft pick they had this year, to get him to forego his commitment to Mississippi State. Great use of the draft bonus pool by the FO this year.

While the RED SOX are only 8 Games over .500, I would just like to point out that their current record would be good enough for First Place in the Mighty-and-Powerful AL West, Third Place in the NL East, Second Place in the NL Central, and Second Place in the NL West.

so.... this pisses me off. Tyler Milliken was just talknig about houck. houck, he's exhausted. well, he's had 3 or fewer ks in 5 of his last 7 starts. He can't strike anyone out. Well, in a few recent starts he tried to lean on his sinker and did, okay. Milliken (and this isn't the kind of thing i pay close enough attention to notice) says that he went BACK to a sweeper heavy aresenal today and look what happened, he got ROCKED and blew a 4-0 lead. and they have brought up before on their podcast that MLB teams are SITTING on the red sox sweepers because that's ALL THEY THROW.

Bailey can't just have this one size fits all to every pitcher and every hitter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also pointed out that cora pushed houck because they have a double header today, COME ON GUYS. bird in the hand is worth two in the bush we can't be throwing games today in the trash because we're worried about tomorrow.
