(Yes, before anyone says anything - I'm kidding. It's not remotely practical and won't happen lol)

No, but given the huge expense of fixing the roof at the Trop, and the fact that they are moving out of there after 2027, apparently no one wants to pay to actually fix the dump so they need to find somewhere else to play for the next 3 seasons. This is where major sports leagues would benefit from actually running themselves as a collective business instead of always looking to siphon off money from local governments for stadium builds. MLB as a whole makes more than enough revenue to have a pool set aside for ballpark construction and repairs for unforeseen cases like this.

They should let Grimace pitch in the actual game... would probably be an improvement on their pitching staff

I guessed right with Stanton as the ALCS MVP. For a split second, I thought it might go to Juan Soto after the game winning home run sending the Y*nkee$ to the World Series.

Congratulations to the Y*nkee$ and their fans. Still the possibility this could be a New York World Series.

I'm so sad that Fernando passed away,
When Fernando stepped away from the Dodgers weeks ago, I was very worried.
When Fernando went to the hospital, I was deeply concern with his health.

I wanted Fernando to recover from the hospital.
I wanted Fernando to return to his broadcasting booth.
If Fernando needed to retired from broadcasting, he could of stayed at home and live simply. :(
I wanted him to live. Have friends come visit to his house.
If he didn't feel well, just take it easy.

The Athletics will play at least the next three seasons in West Sacramento, California. The team announced Thursday that it will play 60 of its 81 home games in 2025 at night, with 11 of the day games held in April and May.

The scheduling appears to be a step to mitigate concerns about playing in extreme heat in Sacramento. The city experienced its hottest 20-day stretch on record earlier this summer, with temperatures averaging 103.8 degrees from June 23 to July 12.

The Athletics announced earlier this month that they would play on natural grass in Sacramento.

The 60 home night games would tie the 1968 Athletics for the most in a season in franchise history.

The Athletics are sharing Sutter Health Park with the Triple-A River Cats, a Giants affiliate. Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball worked together to ensure that both teams will not play at home on the same day.

Cole opted out but the Y*nkee$ can cancel his opt out by adding a 5th year, at 36 million, to the 4 yeard at 144 million he had left. so his remaining contract would be 5 years at 180 million and carry him through age 39. i would imagine the Y*nkee$ would do that.
